Kuala Lumpur World Marching Band Competition
(KLWMBC) 2008
On 3 Aug 2008, TK Band won a SILVER medal at this international band competition held at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.

Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) 2008
Central Judging & Competition for Display Band
During the final of the Display Band Competition held at the National Stadium on 12 April 2008, TK Band lost the Best Display Band title they had held for 10 years to Deyi. However, TK Band retained the GOLD with Honours medal, being one out of only 2 bands to win such an award.
